About "HeroHunt.ai"
What is HeroHunt.ai?
HeroHunt.ai is an AI recruiter (a tool that automates recruitment sourcing) provided by Eevee Meets B.V., headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Tell its core product, "AI Recruiter," who you are looking for in plain language, and it searches more than one billion public profiles on the web, screens candidates against your job requirements with AI, and handles email outreach and follow-ups automatically.
Instead of posting a job and waiting for applicants, it takes on the work of outbound recruiting (direct sourcing) — finding and approaching candidates yourself — across three stages: search, screening and outreach. Co-founder and CEO Yuma Heymans states on the website that AI Recruiter already helps tens of thousands of recruiters worldwide.

- What counts as a profile — One candidate that AI Recruiter has screened, matched to your position and delivered for your review. Profiles it looks at but does not show you are not counted. You choose how many profiles each search should find (100 by default, up to 500)
- What counts as an email — One candidate for whom an email address is found for outreach. Lookups that find nothing are free
- Allowances reset on your monthly billing date (every 30 days on annual plans). When an allowance runs out, your positions and candidates stay visible and running outreach keeps going
- The 8-day trial includes 150 profiles and 75 emails for the whole trial. After the trial, your subscription automatically converts to a paid plan
- Larger teams or those needing more profiles can ask about special plans

How to use
-
Start the free trial
Create an account from "Start for free" and begin the 8-day trial. The app is at https://www.herohunt.ai/app.
-
Tell AI Recruiter who you are looking for
Instead of filters or Boolean searches, use a job description or a sentence such as "an AI engineer with Python, PyTorch and LLM fine-tuning experience." AI Recruiter asks follow-up questions to refine the profile it searches for.
-
Review the screened candidates and approve whom to contact
AI Recruiter scores and ranks profiles against your requirements and explains why each is a good fit. You approve the candidates to reach out to.
-
Connect your mailbox and automate outreach
Connect Gmail or Outlook, and AI Recruiter writes a message for each candidate and sends it from your own email address, following up with those who have not replied. Nothing is sent unless the position is set to "Active."
-
Receive replies
Candidate replies arrive in your own mailbox. In the app you can track numbers such as candidates reached and replies for each position.

Search, screen and reach out — handed off as one flow
AI Recruiter's work is split into three stages: search, screening and outreach. Steps that recruiters used to handle with separate tools and manual work are carried out in order from a single request.

01Search
Describe the requirements in words, and it finds candidates in public profiles.
- Natural-language search — No filters or Boolean strings needed; it also reads the context of the job description
- Search scope — More than one billion profiles across LinkedIn, GitHub, Xing, Stack Overflow and more (750 million on Starter)
- Openness signals — You cannot filter directly on "Open to Work," but the AI takes into account how open a candidate signals they are on their profile (help center)
02Screening
The AI reads each candidate against your job requirements.
- Scoring by requirement — Uses language models to read profiles and related public data, scores them on each requirement and ranks them
- Explains the fit — Delivers each candidate with the reasons they match the job
- Models used — Recent GPT and Claude models on Starter; the latest GPT and Claude models on Pro and above
03Outreach
Approved candidates receive individually written messages.
- Finding and verifying emails — Finds and verifies candidates' email addresses. Candidates without an email move to the bottom of the flow so you can reach them yourself through their profile link
- Prompt-based messages — Write instructions inside square brackets [ ] in your template, and the AI writes just that part for each candidate based on their profile and the job. Text outside the brackets is sent as is
- Sent from your address — Connect Gmail or Outlook and messages are sent directly from your account; candidates see them exactly as if you had emailed them yourself
- Automatic follow-ups — Sends follow-up emails to candidates who have not replied
Can it be used for Japanese-language hiring?
According to the help center, AI Recruiter works in any language: you can write the job description, screening and outreach messages in your own language. If you chat with AI Recruiter in your language, screening is done in that language too. The app, website and help center, however, are in English. The website does not say how many Japanese candidates are included in the searchable profiles.
