Chromox AI was an AI content generator that turned text or images into video and stills, but it is no longer available. As of this update, the official domain (chromox.com) has no A record in DNS, and chromox.alkaidvision.com — cited as its successor — does not resolve either. The successor's parent domain (alkaidvision.com) does not respond over HTTP either. No formal shutdown announcement from the operator has been found, but the service appears to have closed (as of August 2026).

Chromox AI took text or an image as input and generated stills and video using an AI model you picked for the purpose (realistic, anime, pixel art, and so on). Output could be saved to the cloud, shared with the community, or posted straight to social media. Coins accumulated through logins and activity and could be spent on extra features. Templates and presets were provided, and the service claimed use in digital art education at schools.
Pricing was split between a free and a paid plan; the free plan covered basic image and video generation with community support. The price and feature set of the paid plan were never published, and commercial use was described only as "restricted on free, permitted on paid (details undisclosed)."
