Matter API (October 1)
Requests received through an internal portal or workflow system can be registered automatically as matters in LegalOn's Matter Management. Matter name, requester, status, assignee, and custom fields can be registered and updated externally, reducing double entry and transcription. It is the third API release, following the user/organization API published in February 2026 and the contract API published in July 2026. Integration requires development and implementation on your side.

Automatic linking of pre- and post-signing contracts (October 16)
Pre-signing drafts and signed versions tend to be registered separately because different people register them at different times, and until now they had to be linked by hand. The new feature judges based on contract title, parties, and text similarity, and links them automatically only when confidence that they are the same contract is high. This makes it easier to trace the review and negotiation history when renewing a contract or handling a consultation.

Agent Builder (October 19, beta)
You set "in what case, what to do," and when the conditions are met an AI agent carries out the work automatically (patent pending). The first release automates legal consultations and matter assignment, triggered by events in Matter Management such as a new matter being created or a matter's status or assignee changing. Setup takes as few as 5 clicks, and you can limit the information the AI can reference (your own knowledge, and whether to use web search) and the actions it can take (such as sending email to requesters). Workflows created by the company's attorney team and expansion to automatic first-pass contract review are also planned. Pricing and eligible plans for the beta have not been announced (as of October 21, 2026).
