About "SAMURAI AI研修"

What is SAMURAI AI研修?

SAMURAI AI研修 is a set of introductory generative AI courses and custom AI training built around each company's work, offered by SAMURAI ENGINEER Biz, the corporate training service of the programming school 侍エンジニア (SAMURAI ENGINEER). Introductory courses on ChatGPT, Gemini, Dify and Google Apps Script (GAS) are 3-hour online seminars that start at ¥19,800 per person (tax included). For AI training aimed at improving business operations (Python/GAS) and Dify training, working engineers design the curriculum around each company's challenges.

The operating company changed on October 1, 2026. The education and corporate businesses previously run by 株式会社SAMURAI were transferred to Open Up IT Engineer Inc. (株式会社オープンアップITエンジニア), a subsidiary of 株式会社オープンアップグループ, which is listed on the Prime Market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange (announcement on the official website). The service name and contact point (sejuku.net/biz) remain the same.

The ChatGPT introductory course takes participants from ChatGPT basics to workplace uses such as writing emails and documents, gathering information, comparing options and brainstorming, through lectures and case studies. The official description is "a course that aims to get you using ChatGPT in a 3-hour session."

The Gemini, Dify and GAS introductory courses have the same length and price; each covers a different tool.

Using subsidies

The official site says companies "can apply for subsidies that cover expenses if conditions are met." As the training provider, it handles curriculum and schedule documents, issues certificates of completion and receipts, and deals with documents that need its entries or signature. However, it does not prepare or enter application documents or file applications with the Labour Bureau, so the application is made by the company itself or a certified social insurance labor consultant.

In an August 4, 2026 press release, the former operator 株式会社SAMURAI said its custom hands-on training had many adoptions using the Human Resources Development Support Subsidy (Business Expansion Reskilling Support Course), which covers up to 75% of training costs.

Under the revision of August 3, 2026, literacy-focused training such as generic prompt writing is no longer eligible under the Business Expansion Reskilling Support Course. Eligibility depends on the training content and the participants' duties, so check with your local Labour Bureau before submitting your training plan.

Training that teaches how to use a tool regardless of job role, like the 3-hour introductory courses, may be judged ineligible for that course after the revision. If you are counting on a subsidy, check at the consultation stage whether custom training can be tied to participants' duties.

Track record and reputation

The official site lists corporate training for "more than 500 companies" and cumulative instruction for "more than 50,000 people" (including lessons, seminars and online courses). It also states that it is certified as a "DX-certified business operator" by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.

How it compares with other corporate AI training

The columns for other services reflect what is stated on each product page as of when it was checked.

What sets SAMURAI AI研修 apart is that you can pick 3-hour courses for each tool — ChatGPT, Gemini, Dify and GAS — at the same price, and that one-on-one custom training from a programming school's instructors can take you as far as automating work with Python or GAS. If you want company-wide Microsoft 365 Copilot training, ユースフルビジネス, with its hourly pricing, is also worth comparing. For longer public courses of a day or more, インソース 生成AI研修 and トレノケート AI研修 publish their prices. Other services are listed in our comparison of corporate generative AI training.
