What is Recursion
Recursion is a computer science learning platform operated by Recursion, Inc. Co-founder Jeffry Alvarado and other former Meta engineers selected the software-development knowledge from US university curricula and designed backend projects on top of their production experience at Meta. The curriculum runs to more than 800 hours.
The design philosophy is stated plainly: 20% input, 80% output. The goal is to prevent the state of "I learned to program but cannot actually build." More than 100 backend assignments avoid frameworks, and a team development program is available.

Why CS fundamentals matter when AI writes the code
