The cheapest single course is JPY 30,000 per person (excl. tax; JPY 33,000 incl. tax). The official site also shows an "effective cost" assuming a 75% subsidy, but that is a reference figure that presumes the subsidy is granted.
Using subsidies
For the Gemini training for SMEs, the official site points to the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's Human Resource Development Support Subsidy (Business Expansion Reskilling Support Course) (as of October 2026). According to the site, cost subsidies are 75% for SMEs and 60% for large companies, the training plan must total at least 10 hours, and the training plan must be submitted at least one month before training starts. Kikagaku provides documentation proving the training content for applications and can introduce partner labor and social security attorneys.
For the Generative AI Bootcamp, an August 7, 2025 press release states that it "is eligible for the Human Resource Development Support Subsidy, and up to 70% of the fee can be subsidized if conditions are met" (no course is named).
Under the revision of August 3, 2026, the Business Expansion Reskilling Support Course no longer covers literacy-focused training such as learning general-purpose prompt writing. For quickly developing internal AI champions, the 5-day bootcamp is an option.
It suits less large companies that want to compare prices for all employees up front. Customized training and corporate e-learning prices are not published and require a quote. Also, the publicly priced Gemini training assumes Google Workspace; there is no publicly priced package for companies centered on Microsoft 365 and Copilot (free seminars covering Copilot are held).
