About "Rimo Voice"
What is Rimo Voice?
Rimo Voice is an AI meeting-minutes and transcription service specialized for Japanese, developed and provided by Rimo LLC (Shibuya, Tokyo). AI automatically transcribes meeting and interview audio, then handles speaker separation, summarization, and minutes creation end to end. According to the official press release, it was used by more than 250,000 accounts in Japan as of March 2026.
Its biggest strength is optimization for natural Japanese recognition, including kanji, katakana, and punctuation, and a custom dictionary handles industry and in-house terminology. Because a recording bot automatically joins Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and Webex meetings, there is no need to set up recording for every meeting. The service holds ISO/IEC 27001 and 27017 certifications, stores data in Japan, and explicitly states that data is never used for AI training — with published case studies in highly confidential settings such as board meetings and municipal assemblies.
How to use
-
Create an account
Sign up from the "Free trial" button on the official site. No credit card registration is required.
-
Connect meetings or add audio
Link your Google or Outlook calendar and the recording bot automatically joins scheduled online meetings (Zoom / Teams / Google Meet / Webex). Uploading audio/video files, real-time recording in the browser, and recording with the mobile app (background recording supported) are also available.
-
Review the transcript
Transcription and summary are ready 5–10 minutes after the meeting ends (per official guidance). Audio and text play back in sync, and speaker separation labels each utterance. Register frequently misrecognized words in the dictionary to improve future accuracy.
-
Finish the minutes with AI
Choose AI summary templates such as minutes, conversation recap, or article drafting, or edit by instructing an AI assistant that knows the meeting content via chat.
-
Share and integrate
Share via URL, co-edit in team folders, get Slack/email notifications, and download as CSV / Excel / PDF. CRM integration automates transferring deal records.

- The official site publishes 24 named case studies, including Aoyama Gakuin, Shimizu Corporation, Imuraya Group, Anjo City, Yazu Town Hall (Tottori), and Speee Inc.
Imuraya Group Co., Ltd.: "On top of the transcription accuracy, the decisive factor for adoption was the solid security despite being a cloud service. The time to prepare board-meeting minutes has been cut in half, and people in the company now say they couldn't work without Rimo." (from the official case study)
Cases with published figures include Otemon Gakuin (interview and minutes work time reduced to about one quarter), Yazu Town Hall in Tottori (assembly minutes time reduced to one sixth), Nippon Expressway Research Institute (minutes workload reduced to one third on average), and Max Support Inc. (about 160 hours of overtime cut per year).
How it differs from other tools
Compared with other Japan-made AI minutes and sales-call tools, Rimo Voice positions itself as a general-purpose AI minutes service usable by individuals and enterprises alike, emphasizing Japanese accuracy and security.
| Aspect | Rimo Voice | Notta | Sumarii | Otolio | JamRoll |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Character | Japanese-specialized general AI minutes | Transcription strong in many languages | Specialized in spoken Japanese; easy correction of proper nouns | Agent automating work before/after meetings | Sales-call records and CRM entry |
| Free tier | Trial only (no card) | Free plan available | 3 free hours per month | Contact sales | Contact sales |
| Individual pricing | From ¥1,650/mo (tax incl.) | Premium ¥1,185/mo (annual, tax incl.) | Free tier + paid plans | Enterprise-focused | ¥5,000/user/mo |
| Strength | 250K accounts in Japan, ISO certified, CRM integration | Published accuracy rate, multilingual | Zero retention, data in Japan | 8,000+ companies, Salesforce updates | Adopted by NEC and other majors |
If you hold many multilingual meetings, compare Notta; if easy correction of proper nouns matters most, Sumarii; if you want automation of work before and after meetings, Otolio; for sales-call analytics, JamRoll; and if you want a large free tier in an overseas product, Fathom. For minutes that cannot afford mistakes — board meetings, municipal assemblies — run to domestic Japanese security standards, Rimo Voice is a top choice.
